Manoj Bajpayee to get Dadasaheb Phalke award for 'Aligarh'!

Manoj Bajpayee has much more to celebrate than just his birthday. The actor has conferred with the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award for his act in Hansal Mehta’s Aligarh.

The movie is a biographical drama and the 47-year-old has essayed the role of late Professor Siras, who taught Marathi at Aligarh Muslim University in the critically acclaimed film. Siras was sacked from his position on charges of homosexuality. After it was announced that he will be receiving the award, an overwhelmed Bajpayee, stated, ''Thank you for your tremendous appreciation and love. Feeling extremely honoured.''
