Gangster-turned-entrepreneur, Muthappa Rai will be unveiling
the first look of a biopic based on his life, which will be directed by ace
director Ram Gopal Varma.
The look of the movie titled, RAI-The Greatest Gangster
Ever, will be revealed on May 1 at Bidadi, Bengaluru. Actor Vivek Oberoi will
play the title role in the movie which will be made in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada
and Telugu.
Known as the 'Godfather of Bangalore', Muthappa was involved
in land mafia, extortion, etc, since the mid-80s. Though Muthappa is comparatively
unknown outside Karnataka, RGV feels the gangster's story has sheer drama and
dynamism.
The 54-year-old director told the movie will be extensively
shot in Mangalore, Bangalore, Mumbai, Dubai and London.
