Emily Blunt starrer The Girl on the Train remake is on the card with Parineeti Chopra!

Now Emily Blunt starrer The Girl on the Train’s remake is on the card. The thriller, which blew movie lovers' minds at the time of its release, is being remade in Hindi with Parineeti Chopra in the lead.

The original movie was an adaptation of a book with the same titled penned down by Paula Hawkins. The Hollywood film saw Emily Blunt depict the role of "The Girl on the Train."

The film followed the story of a recent alcoholic divorcee who spent most of her time dreaming about a perfect couple who lived in a beautiful house she saw during her train commutes. A series of events involving the couple she fantasised about take place and her life takes an ugly turn.

It would be exciting to see how Parineeti Chopra makes the role her own and brings the Hindi remake to life. As per media reports, the movie will be directed by Ribhu Dasgupta. Reliance Entertainment and Amblin Partners are producing the official remake.
