The trailer of forthcoming movie Udta Punjab, which revolves
around drug abuse in Punjab, has mesmerized everybody and Shahid Kapoor, who
plays a rock star addicted to drugs, claims that he had a tough time playing
the character of Tommy Singh.
Explaining on the same, Shahid told that Tommy Singh is a
very eccentric and loud character and as Shahid is not like that at all in his
personal life, he had to work a lot on his performance and body language.
Shahid also added that though he worked out for the role, he did not want a
physique like that of a bodybuilder's but rather wanted to look like someone
who is into substance abuse.
Film Udta Punjab also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt
and Diljit Dosanjh.
