Pia Bajpai, who is all set to mark her Hindi film debut with
director Syed Ahmad Afzal's Laal Rang, opposite Randeep Hooda, also learnt the
art of direction while shooting for the movie.
Pia always wanted to explore direction and would often sit
with assistant directors to learn the subject, during the making of the movie.
She then expressed her desire to work as an AD to the makers and they gladly
agreed. On the days she wouldn’t be shooting, she used to help the crew and we
hear she pulled off both the roles – of being an actor and an AD, quite well.
Sources claim that Randeep often used to tease her by asking her for his
continuity shots.
Confirming the reports, Pia told, ''Laal Rang being my debut
is very close to me and spending time assisting Randeep during my four-day
break in the schedule just helped me further master my craft.''
Laal Rang is slated to release on April 22.
