Shahid Kapoor to talk about hiking his fee post the success of Kabir Singh!


Shahid Kapoor is on cloud nine after the success of Kabir Singh and he deserves every bit of applause and appreciation for essaying the role of an alcoholic surgeon who is on the path of self-destruction, after his girlfriend is forced to wed another man. While the movie is going all guns blazing at the box office, there is a certain section of the society who have criticised the movie for having undertones of misogyny.

Now, Kabir Singh has turned out to be Shahid Kapoor’s major solo film till date, and post the astonishing success of Kabir Singh, reports revealed that Shahid has upped his fee to a whopping 35-40 crores. Reports suggested that post the success of Kabir Singh, Shahid Kapoo has demanded Rs 40 crores for the remake of Telugu hit Jersey starring Nani and Shraddha Srinath. Now, in a latest media chat, Shahid Kapoor opened up about the rumours of him charging a whopping Rs. 35 crores as fees post the success of Kabir Singh.

 “I have to sign a film to receive any money. I think the only people who are making money are Bhushan Kumar and Murad Khetani. I have exactly the same bank balance I had before Kabir Singh, I have to sign another project before I get paid”, revealed Shahid, clearing the air surrounding fee hike.
