Bollywood stars Bhumi Pednekar and Tapsee Pannu are two of
the most gifted actresses of Bollywood. Both will be sharing the screen space
in Anurag Kashyap's next movie, Saand Ki Aankh. The Tushar Hiranandani
directorial is a biopic based on the life of sharpshooters Chandro Tomar and
her sister-in-law Prakashi Tomar. The filming began in February this year and
the film is scheduled to release on Diwali 2019.
As per media reports, Bhumi will be essaying the character
of Chandro Tomar, also known as Shooter Dadi, Tapsee will be playing the role
of her sister-in-law Prakashi Tomar. Since a few days, the actresses have been
actively sharing behind the scenes photographs from the sets of Saand Ki Aankh.
Recently, Bhumi took to her social media handle to share a
still from her forthcoming movie. In this photo, Bhumi has her back to the
camera and the focus is on Tapsee, who is dressed in a traditional dress,
staring down with a bright smile on her face. Introducing her character, Bhumi
penned down a lovely message along with the post, which reads: “Yo hai mhari
devrani, Prakashi... Mhara rishta hai bohot anokha, hum hai saheliyan, behenein
aur sukh-dukh ke saathi.... Humne saath uthai bandook aur tode saare rules.
Kyuki mera toh manna hai, Mehnat kare insaan, sahayata kare bhagwan.”
