No nothing happening in Hollywood as yet, confirms Deepika Padukone!

After the success of xXx: Return or Xander Cage, a lot has been told about Deepika Padukone’s forthcoming projects in Hollywood. While some news had suggested that the actress along with her xXx co-star Vin Diesel would soon be seen in another project, Deepika has finally disparaged the rumours and has opened up about the same.

Talking at an event in the capital, Deepika explained that she hasn’t yet signed any Hollywood project and at the moment has got a lot of Hindi movies.

On being questioned about her projects in the west Deepika replied, “No nothing happening in Hollywood as yet. Would let you know for sure but yes, a lot of films coming on way and I’m happy.”

In the meantime, the 31-year-old actress is presently busy filming for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati. Deepika would be seen playing the role of Rani Padmini in the highly controversial drama. Seen along with her would be Padamapati aka Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh.

While Shahid Kapoor will play the role of Rawal Ratan Singh, Ranveer would be seen flaunting his villainy side in the film as Alauddin Khilji.

The heroic drama has been in news for all the wrong reasons from the very beginning. Most recently, Padmavati had hit the headlines after an unfortunate incident of vandalism on the film’s sets in Kolhapur came to surface.

Condemning the attack Deepika had said a popular news channel, “Sanjay Leela Bhansali is someone who lives for cinema and I've never met anyone more passionate. I know for a fact that he will take everything in a positive way and pour it back into the movie. He's here to tell a story through his film and glorify Padmavati.”

“These complaints are attacks are childish and based on some tabloid news. Media should be mindful of these things. It's gossipy for them but look at the end result! People could've died,” she further added.
