Bollywood actress Rani Mukerji who took a leave post her
delivery is all set to make her comeback with her forthcoming
flick Hichki, which will be produced under the Yash Raj film banner.
Taking to Instagram, YRF has pronounced that the film Rani will be starring in
will be directed by Siddharth P Malhotra and will be produced by Maneesh
Sharma.
The YRF post quotes Rani telling that she has decided to
take up the offer as the movie is built on a positive premises of not
succumbing to one's weakness. "I was looking for a script that would
challenge and excite me, and Hichki came my way. Each one of us has a
weakness that pulls us back, it could be a disability or any condition but if
we just look at it as simply a hiccup, we can emerge as a winner. It won't come
in the way of achieving your dreams. Hichki is built on this positive
premise and I have decided to take it up," Rani posted.
Hichki is a tale of a strong woman who under various
circumstances turn her biggest weakness into her strength.
Rani was last seen playing the role of a police officer in
the movie Mardaani. She but went missing from the silver screen post
pregnancy. Rani and hubby Aditya Chopra were blessed with a baby girl Adira
last year in December.
