Chopra successfully venturing into the film production, now Katrina
Kaif is all set to don the producer's hat!
Rumour is abuzz with the reports that Katrina's ex, Salman
Khan will launch one of her sisters, Isabel, in a project which would
also feature Sonia, their other model sibling who is based in the UK. But, as
per reports in a tabloid, a close friend of Salman has cleared that there
are no plans of the actor-producer producing a film with Isabel
anytime soon.
In its place, it's Katrina who is now planning to turn
producer which could be a debut vehicle for Isabel. “Katrina and
Salman discuss films extensively and are like family to each other. She has
shown interest in venturing into film production soon while simultaneously
balancing her acting gigs and has been reading scripts, discussing films with
her close director friends as well. If there's anyone who'll launch her sister
in a big Bollywood production, it'll be Katrina herself," told the source.
When the daily got in touch with the actress, she told,
“Nothing really has crystallized yet. I will produce a film one day...
soon."
Previously, Isabel made her acting debut in the 2014
Kunal Nayyar-starrer, Dr Cabbie, which was directed by Jean-Francois
Pouliot. Salman co-produced the movie and was also present at the film's
Toronto premiere.
Isabel had been a regular visitor to sister Katrina and have
appeared with her at numerous Bollywood parties and Salman's parties.
