The rumor has been doing the rounds for a while that Rangoon stars Shahid
Kapoor and Kangana Ranaut were at loggerheads. The news of a
cold war between the due grabbed eyeballs when they were shooting for Vishal
Bhardwaj's movie.
While Shahid has always maintained that all is good
between Kangy and him, the actress opened up about
one habbit of Shahid she didn't like during Rangoon's
shooting.
In an interview to famous tabloid, Ms Ranaut told,
"We were shooting in a remote location where a little makeshift cottage
was erected. Shahid and I were sharing the cottages with our respective teams.
Every morning, I would wake up to this mad hip-hop music. And he would exercise
listening to crazy trance and techno songs blasting from the speakers. I was
fed up and wanted to shift out. Sharing the cottage with Shahid was a
nightmare!"
Kangana hails from the hills of Himachal Pradesh, hence she
didn't find the shooting a taxing experience. But, the case was different for Shahid.
"Initially, it was a bit taxing because I was suddenly taken from an urban
location to an extremely remote location with no network. But, gradually, it
became a lot easier since I am a mountain girl. But Shahid would often freak
out," she told.
Remarkably, Shahid and Kangana were seen together on the
sets of The Kapil Sharma Show, promoting their movie.
Rangoon will release on February 24, 2017.
