The award season is around and the 62nd Filmfare Awards
ceremony, presented by the Filmfare magazine, honoured the best Hindi language
Indian movies of 2016. The ceremony was held on 14 January 2017 and was
co-hosted by Kapil Sharma, Karan Johar and Shah Rukh Khan. The award show will
be aired on 18th February 2017.
Filmfare magazine honoured the winners by featuring them on
the cover page of their winning issue. The cover image had Alia Bhatt, Sonam
Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor and Diljit Dosanjh. Also seen on the pages inside were
Shaban Azmi, Manoj Bajpayee, Rishi Kapoor, Ritika Singh, Nitish Tiwari and
Shatrughan Sinha.
Alia Bhatt won the best actress award. She is seen posing
pretty as she sat on a chair posing in her dust pink gown. She wore negligible
makeup and her hair in a low ponytail.
Sonam, on the other hand, looked sultry in her sheer nude
gown. Sonam took home the best actress critics awards for her act in and as
Neerja. Sonam complemented her gown with a soft updo and berry lips.
Shahid Kapoor looked royal in a black wrap around style
bandh gala and pyjama. Shahid won the best actor critics for his performance in
Udta Punjab. Diljit Dosanjh looked handsome as always in a navy-velvet jacket,
with a white shirt and a thin oxblood tie.
Seen in an oxblood gown paired with a leather jacket was
best debutant actress female award winner Ritika Singh.
