Amitabh Bachchan is maybe one of the busiest men in Tinsel
Town today with back to back releases scheduled this year.
Given his hectic schedule, the senior Bachchan who had
received a special invitation from the Queen and Prince Philip, the Duke Of
Edinburgh to attend the UK-India Year of Culture launch, will be giving the
event a miss.
Approving the news to a famous magazine, Big B's
spokesperson revealed, "Yes, Mr Bachchan has been extended a rare
invitation by Queen Elizabeth and Buckingham Palace to grace the UK-India
Cultural Year reception. Unfortunately, however, he will be unable to attend
due to prior commitments."
The senior actor has also extended his regret to the
Buckingham Palace while adding that it's an honour to have received the
invitation.
Queen Elizabeth II will be hosting the UK-India year of
Culture launch at the Buckingham Palace on February 27. Many dignitaries
from both the countries are expected to attend the event.
Amitabh Bachchan who was last seen in Pink will next be seen
in Ram Gopal Varma's Sarkar 3 that also stars Yami Gautam, Ronit
Roy, Manoj Bajpayee, Amit Sadh among others. He will also be seen in Aankhen
2, Thugs of Hindostan with Aamir Khan and Dragon along
with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.
