Kareena Kapoor Khan have no idea why people took son Taimur’s name so personally!

Bollywood stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan welcomed a baby boy on December 20, 2016. Within a few hours, after his birth, Taimur Ali Khan became a social media sensation. The reason being that his name similarities the one of the Mongol conqueror Timur who killed thousands within his wake. Numerous bashed Kareena and Saif for naming their baby Taimur. 

While Saif has been vocal about the issue and told that Taimur means Iron and that the couple had loved the name, Kareena too was of the same opinion. 

When a famous daily asked about how she felt about the social media outrage on her son, Kareena told, "It was bizarre. I have no idea why people took my baby's name so personally. But we love the name and let me put it this way — it has no resemblance to any person living or dead. We love the meaning (Taimur means iron in Arabic) and I am happy that [some] people came out in support of us so strongly. That support matters more than anything bad that was said or written."

Kareena closed the Lakme Fashion Week 2017 yesterday when she walked the ramp for Anita Dongre, few weeks after giving birth.

In the meantime, on the film front, Kareena will be seen together with Sonam Kapoor in Veere Di Wedding.
