The makers of forthcoming movie MS: Dhoni: An Untold Story
are stunned with the audience's response to their film's trailer and now, they
are planning to release the movie in multiple languages to capitalize on Indian
cricket team's captain, Mahendra Singh Dhoni's countrywide acceptance.
The makers also want to dub the movie in Marathi to release
in the state of Maharashtra but, their decision has rubbed the Chitrapat
Karmachari Sena (CKS), the film affairs wing of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena
(MNS), the wrong way and the members of CKS have objected to this move as they
believe that it would affect the regional films' market in the state.
Apparently, CKS chief Amey Khopkar took the call after he
received frantic calls from some Marathi film producers, who believe that this
will start a trend and more and more filmmakers will start releasing dubbed
version of their movies, which will sooner or later hamper Marathi films'
business.
