Way back in 1993, Shah Rukh Khan had won everybody's hearts
by playing an obsessive lover in Yash Chopra's Darr, which had also starred Sunny
Deol and Juhi Chawla and now, years later, YRF is planning to reboot the movie
as a web series format.
Darr 2.0, backed by Y-Films, a YRF offshoot, will feature
the characters of Rahul, Kiran and Sunil from the original but in an completely
new milieu, weaved in a modern, original tale of obsession and fear in the age
of cyber stalking and digital crimes. This is maybe the first time that a
Bollywood movie will be rebooted as a web series and we are quite thrilled to
see who will play the intense and obsessive Rahul in the series.
