Parineeti Chopra may have lost lots of weight and have had a
dream concert tour, but now she's been replaced by someone else in a
prestigious campaign. Here are the details.
Actress Parineeti Chopra has been replaced by none other
than one of the current favorites of Indian sports - Sakshi Malik. Malik who
clinched a medal at the Rio Olympics seems to have become the favorite for the
Haryana Government's 'Beti Bachao' campaign and will be replacing Pari as the
face of the campaign. In July 2015, at a special event attended by the Haryana
chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar, Parineeti had been appointed brand
ambassador.
Seemingly, Parineeti found herself at the receiving end of
criticism as the state government expressed its unhappiness over the campaign
going off the rails. Sakshi, who hails from the Mokhra village in Rohtak, has
become a household name in India and in her home state Haryana after her
magnificent feat in Rio Olympics. Hence it is now going to be Sakshi for the
'Beti Bachao' campaign.
