Ranveer Singh never fails to seize the viewer’s attention
with his comical antics and he lately made a statement which made us laugh.
Ranveer has donned the drag for an ad film and has played
his own mother in it. Talking about it, the actor told, ''Actually I always
wanted to play the role of a mother and I'm very thankful to Rohit sir that he
gave me this opportunity.”
But, Rohit Shetty, who has directed the ad, was quick to
add, ''Thank God he didn't say Rohit sir ne mujhe maa bana dia (laughs)!”
In fact, to play Maa Ching was completely Ranveer Singh's
idea. Confirming the same, Shetty said, ''He is a very good scriptwriter, the basic
concept too was Ranveer's.''
