The widely awaited Zoya Akhtar movie The Archies will shortly be accessible on December 7. The cast of the film includes Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda, Khushi Kapoor, Mihir Ahuja, Aditi Dot Saigal, Yuvraj Menda, and Vedang Raina. A wide range of artists and celebrities spoke on the first day of the India Today Mumbai Conclave 2023 about their work and other topics. The whole The Archies ensemble, as well as producer Reema Kagti and Vice President of Content for Netflix India, Monica Shergill, took part in the event, which was titled New Kids on the Block: Meet the Gen Z of Bollywood aka The Archies Gang.
Amitabh Bachchan's grandson Agastya Nanda was questioned about how much he resembles the character of Archie Andrews in the eagerly anticipated upcoming Netflix film The Archies at the India Today Mumbai Conclave 2023. He disclosed, “I wouldn't call myself a casanova. Something that we do share in common is our love for music, because it helps you deal with a lot of emotions and that's where we are kind of similar, and yes, I am definitely not a casanova.”
Chatting about his debut, he further disclosed, “I don't think you choose The Archies. It was Zoya who chose and we auditioned for it. Being on Netflix is such an exciting opportunity, being streamed in 190 countries at once. I find it so exciting. I couldn't have asked for a better team of people to work with. These guys over here have become my best friends and we hang out a lot, actually a bit too much.”
When interrogated about his role model, Agastya Nanda revealed, “My role model is my dadi, Ritu Nanda. She isn't with us anymore, but I have always aspired to be like her. She just had this warmth about her that if you were around her, you could feel like you could do anything. I wish to be like that, to give people around me all that positivity and love.”
On December 7th, Netflix will release The Archies, a new
original series co-written by Zoya Akhtar, Reema Kagti, and Ayesha Devitre. It
has all-star performances from Khushi Kapoor, the daughter of Sridevi and Boney
Kapoor, Agastya Nanda, and Suhana Khan, the daughter of Shah Rukh Khan. Agastya
and Khushi assume the roles of Archie Andrews and Betty Cooper, respectively,
and Suhana takes on the role of Veronica. The movie also stars Vedang Raina,
Yuvraj Menda, Mihir Ahuja, and Aditi (Dot).
