Legendary Raj Kapoor's wife Raj Kapoor passed away in
morning today (1 october 2018) at 4 AM at the age of 87. Krishna Raj Kapoor was
the mother of 5 children - Randhir Kapoor, Ritu Kapoor Nanda, Rishi Kapoor,
Rima Kapoor Jain and Rajiv Kapoor and the grandmother of Kareena Kapoor Khan,
Ranbir Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Armaan Jain, Nikhil Nanda, Riddhima Kapoor
Sahni, Natasha Nanda and Aadar Jain.
After Raj Kapoor’s death in 1988, she held the entire family
together and was solely responsible for her 5 kids. Randhir Kapoor issued a
statement, telling, "I regret to announce that I lost my mother early this
morning. She died peacefully."
Randhir Kapoor also verified that the last rites will be
performed at Chembur Crematorium. The entire Bollywood is saddened by the loss
of the eldest member of the Kapoor Family and have been expressing their
