Filmmaker Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, who enthralled us with her
last release Nil Battey Sannata, is now gearing up for her next project, which
is titled Bareily Ki Barfi.
Set in Uttar Pradesh, the rom-com stars Kriti Sanon,
Ayushmann Khurrana and Rajkummar Rao in the lead roles. The movie is being
produced by Junglee Pictures and BR Studios.
''It's a unique rom-com rooted in Uttar Pradesh. We start
shooting in the first week of October after conducting a few workshops with the
actors in September,'' says Priti Shahani, President of Junglee Pictures.
Ayushmann will play the role of a printing press' owner,
Rajkummar will play an author and Kriti plays a liberated, forward-thinking UP
girl in the film.
