Actress Karisma Kapoor, who was last seen in Dangerous Ishhq
in 2012, is rumored to do an item number in the sequel of her 1997-hit Judwaa,
which also starred Salman Khan and Rambha. Judwaa 2 will star Varun Dhawan and
will be directed by David Dhawan, who directed the Salman Khan-starrer.
Apparently, the makers of the movie are planning to retain
the original film's hit numbers Tan Tana Tan and Unchi Hai Building for the
sequel and they plan to rope in Karisma for one of the songs in the sequel.
The father-son duo last worked together in 2014
romantic-comedy Main Tera Hero. In the meantime, the makers are finalizing the
script of the sequel and are scouting for two lead heroines to cast opposite
Varun. There is news that Alia Bhatt and Shraddha Kapoor are frontrunners to
bag the roles in the movie. Judwaa 2 is anticipated to go on floors in early
2017.
