Chaubey proved he’s a master filmmaker with last year’s drug-themed Udta
Punjab, and now he’s putting the spotlight on the Chambal dacoits for his next
movie.
Abhishek
has cast Sushant Singh Rajput as a daku in the untitled project that will be
produced by Ronnie Screwvala’s banner RSVP. The film that’s set in the 1970s
will be based on real stories that its writer Sudip Sharma heard first-hand
from the reformed dacoits he met when he went to Chambal for research. Prepare
to be blown away by it!
