Angelina Jolie is a strong liberated woman and she tries her
level best to juggle between work and family. Her divorce with Hollywood star
Brad Pitt must have left an empty space in her but she is still trying to be a
good parent.
Talking to a famous tabloid, Angelina opened up about her
late mother and French-American actress Marcheline Bertrand and also got
emotional while speaking about her split with Brad Pitt.
Speaking about her late mother, the 41-year-old actress and
film-maker told, “I would give anything for her to be with me at this time.
I've needed her. I talk to her often in my mind and try to think what she might
say and how she might guide me.”
Jolie also spoke about how her mother influenced her in
parenting. “I try to lead by example, being conscious of others and being
responsible and to help them have a broader view of the world. But really the
only way I know to raise them is to really listen," she continued.
“It's perhaps the most important thing any parent can do.
They are resilient children but they are children, and as much as they need
help to understand the hard truths in life they also need what we all need –
protection and love.”
The end of Brangelina was the breaking news of last year.
Now, the estranged couple seems to be friendly with each other for the sake of
their kids.
