Bollywood actor Rajkummar Rao is gearing up for the release
of his forthcoming movie Behen Hogi Teri. He will be paired opposite Shruti
Haasan for the first time in the movie. The film is directed by Ajay K Pannalal
and is scheduled to release on June 2, 2017.
During an interaction with a famous tabloid, Rajkummar was
all praises for his Queen co-star Kangana Ranaut. When he was questioned about
her, he specified, "Kangana and I are really great friends. We got along
really well on the sets of Queen."
He added, "It’s pretty easy to make her happy." Furthermore,
he will also be seen in a small role in Hansal Mehta's Simran starring Kangana
in the lead.
In the same interview, Rajkummar disclosed that he was
excepting a National Film Award for Trapped. Talking about it, the actor said,
"Yes, I felt sad when Trapped didn't win any National Award. Trapped was
submitted in 2016 for the National Award."
Rajkummar has numerous movies lined up in the year 2017. He
will be seen in movies namely Shimla Mirchi, Newton, 5 Weddings, Omerta, Ami
Saira Bano, Bareilly Ki Barfi, Ittefaq, Love Sonia and Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana.
He will also be seen as a 350-year-old man in Sushant Singh
Rajput and Kriti Sanon starrer Raabta. He will have a short yet impactful role
and Rao's look shocked many on Social Media and in the fraternity as well.
Raabta, directed by debutant Dinesh Vijan is slated to release on June 9, 2017.
