Actor Akshay Kumar is gearing up for the
promotions of his forthcoming movie Toilet: Ek Prem Katha. While the
films' posters have been disclosed, Akshay's fans are keenly waiting for the
release of the movie's first trailer.
Ahead of the teaser and trailer launch, Akshay Kumar got
an opportunity of meeting the Prime Minister of India, Mr. Narendra Modi, recently.
The actor managed to speak about his forthcoming movie and it seems, its title
made our PM smile.
Akshay shared a picture from his meeting with Modi on
Twitter with a caption that read, "Met PM @narendramodi and got the
opportunity to tell him about my upcoming 'Toilet-Ek Prem Katha.' His smile at
just the title made my day!"
Fascinatingly, Akshay began the promotions of the movie
almost a month back. He had dug out two pit toilets in Madhya Pradesh, where he
was shooting for R. Balki's Padman. Akshay had shared pictures from the
event on Twitter with a post that read, "Digging my 1st #TwoPitToilet in
Khargone District of MP with Minister Narendra Singh Tomar #MakeTheChange
#WasteToWealth."
The film, which is directed by Shree Narayan Singh, also
stars Bhumi Pednekar in the lead and is slated to release on August 11,
2017.
