Shahid Kapoor will be seen romancing Kangana
Ranaut for the first time in Vishal Bhardwaj's Rangoon. There were rumors
of the two not getting along on the sets and there is a cold war between
them.
Shahid, in an interview with a famous tabloid, cleared the
air of all the rumors. He told, "We finished shooting for the film in
April. These rumors surfaced in December. Why was it that there was no news
about our equation back then? If they [rumours] were true, they would have
surfaced then. I had no issues working with anybody."
Shahid further added, "I thought people would believe
that there were problems between me and Saif (Ali Khan, co-star), for obvious
reasons, but it went the other way around. Kangana is one of the best actors we
have."
Rangoon is set in the era of 1940's and the film got
attention when the news came that Saif and Shahid will be seen sharing a single
frame. From the trailer to its songs, the film is making all the right noises
before its release.
Rangoon is set to hit the screens on February 24,
this year.
