Sophie Turner to reveal about studying mental health for her character Jean Grey!


Dark Phoenix aka X-Men: Dark Phoenix is another most anticipated Marvel movie of the year. Presently, the star cast and makers are on a promotional spree and they lately conducted a press conference in South Korea and revealed a lot of details about the movie and characters. During the press interaction, Sophie Turner was questioned whether she studied mental health, to which Sophie who essays the lead character of Jean Grey said yes she indeed did it and studied many disorders such as Schizophrenia and Dissociative disorders among others to feel the confusion, disorientation, frustration anger that drives her character to tears. She revealed how without studying the same it would have been very difficult for her to portray her character.

Talking of the film, the same is produced and distributed by 20th Century Fox. The film is the twelfth installment in the X-Men film series and is a sequel to X-Men: Apocalypse and it is also the final installment in the main X-Men series. The movie is written and directed by Simon Kinberg who is marking his directorial debut with the same.
