Actor-producer John Abraham has never starred in a biopic
yet, but it seems that the bollywood hunk might soon sign the dotted line for a
biopic on the life of Premchand Degra, a professional bodybuilder.
We heard that lately while on a flight, Abraham found
himself seated next to Harnil Degra, the son of Premchand Degra and the two started
talking about fitness and working out when Harnil told John about his father
and also disclosed that he will be writing a script for a biopic on his father.
John expressed his interest in the project and asked Harnil to share the script
with him as and when it is ready.
For those who do not know this, Premchand, a resident of
Punjab, won the Mr. Universe title in the 80 kg category in 1988. He was also
awarded the Achievement Medal by the International Federation of Bodybuilding
and Fitness in 2003 and the Padma Shri in 1990.
John, who was last seen in Rocky Handsome, will be next seen
in Dishoom.
