We had informed a couple of days back that the Sarbjit team
was facing issues with securing permission to shoot a few sequences of their forthcoming
movie at the Indo-Pak border, but it now seems that the schedule will finally
go through.
News has it that Aishwarya, who plays a leading role in the movie,
intervened and personally requested government officials to grant her team the required
permissions to shoot at the border and when a former beauty queen makes a
request, it is somewhat tough to turn her down, isn't it? Unnecessary to say,
the permissions were granted and the crew will shoot for the sequence in the
coming week before heading to Mumbai for their next schedule.
Directed by Omung Kumar, Sarbjit, which also stars Randeep
Hooda and Richa Chadda, revolves around Indian farmer Sarbjit Singh, who was
convicted for spying by the Pakistan government.
