Mahira Khan’s experience in love!

Bollywood stars Mahira Khan and Ranbir Kapoor's pictures from New York trip went viral last year. There were stories that they were dating ever since the pictures were leaked. But, neither Ranbir nor Mahira have confirmed or denied it so far. But, in a latest interview, Mahira Khan disclosed that she is not in love.

Mahira spoke about the controversy in a latest interview and told, “This is my first bout with controversy. I never knew this can also happen. There were film-related controversies earlier but I never experienced controversies related to my personal life. These controversies make you understand that you are vulnerable. Your vulnerability is someone’s money for the day. The price of wisdom is innocence. So, I have definitely become wiser but sadly a little less innocent.”

She also told that she is in love with life and romanticizes everything. “Life is such a beautiful thing. When you sit for a moment during the day and live that particular moment, everything seems perfect. I romanticise every moment of my life and that is why I have fallen in love with life. I can even romanticise a door opening and closing,” said Mahira.

About falling in love, Mahira told, “For now, peace for me is putting Mohammad Rafi’s songs on and sit with a cup of tea." So does she plan to get married again or fall in love again? “I might and I hope that I fall in love again because I have experienced it and it is just so good.”

I don't feel the need to explain or comment on my personal life, says Mahira Khan!

Pakistani actress Mahira Khan is unquestionably one of the most beautiful actresses. She has mesmerized millions of hearts with her aesthetic fashion sense and superlative acts. Lately, the actress shot for a magazine. She is seen posing in a white sweatshirt and shimmery trousers. I think it's very normal for a girl and a guy to hang out. Like I said, we all have learnt from it and we have understood that the media is now everywhere."

In an interview with a tabloid, Mahira revealed, ''I don't feel the need to explain or comment on my personal life.''

On the film front, Mahira is gearing up for Shoaib Mansoor’s much-anticipated movie Verna. Much like Shoaib’s previous movies Bol and Khuda Kay Liye, Verna deals with social issues.

Is Ranbir and Mahira’s alleged relationship blossoming!

Bollywood ex-couple Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif called it quits in January last year and generated a stir among their admirers. The couple split after dating for more than five years and had lived-in for about a year. Ranbir had told that the couple was planning to tie the knot by the year end, and unexpected news of their split astounded the nation.

The two had kept silent about their split until Ranbir Kapoor gave an interview to a well-known journalist and revealed, “Over the years, I’ve realised my personal life is very dear to me, especially what my relationship with Katrina is. After my parents, she’s been the most influential, most motivational entity in my life and I hold that very dear. So, I don’t want to speak anything about it. There’s no negativity, there is no sense of bitterness, so there’s nothing to talk about”. He revealed that there was no awkwardness between them.

Ranbir began filming for Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil where he became great buddies with Fawad Khan who played a cameo in the movie. It is said that Fawad introduced Ranbir Kapoor to his close friend Mahira Khan. Mahira Khan and Fawad Khan worked together in the hit Pakistani serial, Humsafar.

Ranbir was introduced to Mahira Khan at a bash abroad and they seemingly instantaneously hit it off.  “Ranbir and Mahira met during one of their trips abroad and got along like a house on fire. “They have stayed in touch ever since,” a source revealed a daily.

Ranbir and Mahira appeared together on the red-carpet of Global Teacher Prize Ceremony in March in Dubai. The two rocked the red-carpet as they walked in to the ceremony together. Their hot chemistry was evident to all. He listed her amongst the most beautiful women in an interview.

Conjectures were widespread about them growing fond of each other, when a video of them having a so-called lover’s spat went viral. Mahira was seen pleading with Ranbir and the two were having an animated conversation. This fueled the conjectures further. Mahira’s friends came forward and claimed to a daily that rumors of them arguing were fictitious. Her friends claimed that the two were only catching up and Mahira was complaining about how she was not able to promote her debut Bollywood film, Raees in India owing to the political tension between the two countries. The sources claimed that there was no fight and Mahira was just being her ‘animated self’.

Lately, Ranbir’s buddies claimed that their alleged relationship was “work in progress”.  “Ranbir is very fond of Mahira. He talks about her very warmly and affectionately. The actor pompously shows off her pictures on his phone to his close friends,” the source claimed. “This is building into something more than just a casual friendship,” the source revealed a daily.

We sourced photos of Ranbir and Mahira hanging out outside her hotel in New York lately. The two can be seen taking a smoke break after a long day.

Ranbir’s parents Rishi and Neetu Kapoor have told that they will accept Ranbir’s choice as their daughter-in-law. Neetu Kapoor has been catching up on Mahira’s work as son Ranbir lately claimed, “She has been watching serials like Humsafar”.

I am the first Pakistani actress who got the opportunity to work with Shah Rukh Khan as the main lead, says Mahira Khan!

Beautiful Pakistani actress Mahira Khan was destined for success when she got the chance to make her Bollywood debut opposite the one and only Shah Rukh Khan in Raees. 

Due to the ill-fated Uri Attacks, but, there was a permanent ban on Pakistani artists in Indian movies. 

In an interview with a Pakistan-based entertainment portal, Mahira disclosed her unhappiness for Raees to not release in Pakistan. She told, "I am the first Pakistani actress who got the opportunity to work with Shah Rukh Khan as the main lead. But I feel that my success and fame has come under the evil eye due to which my film has not been able to release in Pakistan."

But, reports suggested that Bollywood movies will be permitted to screen in Pakistani cinemas. "It is a good sign that the exhibition of Bollywood films is being reopened in the country," She told.

"Pakistani films are my priority, however; I had never compromised on the role. I will work in films based on quality productions and significant characters," Mahira ended conversation. 

Shah Rukh’s wish as Falguni Pathak sing Udi Udi Jaye for Raees!

Shah Rukh Khan's Raees is ready to hit the screens in two days. The megastar is out-and-out promoting the movie and was lately in Dubai to attend numerous events. SRK has been answering to many Twitter users who booked their tickets for the film and also to the celebrities who wished him best.

One of them was Dandiya Queen Falguni Pathak, who posted a vintage picture posing with King Khan from the year 1996. She captioned the picture telling, "Sharing an old memory 1996 RangeeleDilwale world tour with SRK @iamsrk all the best for #Raees @SRK_FC @SRKUniverse @SRKUniverseUS"

Shah Rukh gave a sweet reply to her by telling, "Wanted so much for u to sing Udi Udi. Thanks for ur wishes"

SRK is magic really, honestly; He spoilt me for life, reveals Mahira Khan!

Pakistani actress Mahira Khan's Bollywood debut has been every actor's dream. She gets to work opposite the one and only Shah Rukh Khan In Raees. The grand debut had a pit stop because of the Uri Attacks which led to a ban of Pakistani artists in Indian movies. 

Although, Mahira cannot promote Raees in India, but, she was in Dubai recently to promote the movie through radio shows and print interviews, separately away from the rest of the Raees team.

In an interview with a famous Pakistan tabloid, Mahira was questioned about what it was like working with SRK. To this, she answered, "Ask me something else, I have talked about it so much I’ll say the same things."

When asked about his quirks, she revealed, "He is magic really, honestly. He spoilt me for life. He used to tell me to do things this way, do it that way. At one point I asked him, am I not doing it right? He said ‘Look I am only telling you what I know, from my experience. You do it your way but all I want is when you see yourself onscreen you don’t come to me and say, why didn’t you tell me!’ Other than that, he’s so bloody smart. There’s nothing you can’t talk to him about."

"We’ve had amazing conversations. It’s so much fun to talk to someone who’s intelligent. It’s not just about films, he can talk about anything! He was watching [Netflix TV series] Narcos while we were shooting, he can talk about books and history. Of course, I’ve always been a fan. But if you watch his interviews, you can tell he’s witty, smart. It was a pleasure working with someone you can have a conversation with. I think he’s hilarious, sometimes at my expense," she added.

Now Pakistani actress Mahira Khan will not promote SRK starrer Raees!

Enthusiasts were thrilled when they saw the Raees trailer - for two key reasons. One being the man himself - Shah Rukh Khan, and second, his female lead Mahira Khan's scenes were not chopped off unlike what happened with Ali Zafar during Dear Zindagi.

Hopes were high when film's producer Ritesh Sidhwani at the trailer launch event of Raees informed that if required, Mahira will join in the film's promotions. But enthusiasts, your happiness was momentary!

Yesterday, Shah Rukh met Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray at his residence in Mumbai along with Ritesh. Post the meeting, Thackeray said the press that SRK has informed him that Mahira would not be promoting the movie!

In the past, MNS has objected to casting of Pakistani actors in Bollywood movies owing to terror attacks in India. Even in October, huge hue and cry was made against the release of Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil for featuring Pak actor Fawad Khan.

SRK’s secret shoot in Dubai with Mahira Khan for Raees!

Previous night the crew of Raees along with lead actor Shah Rukh Khan silently left Mumbai to shoot for two songs in Dubai and Morocco. Rumour is that Pakistani actress Mahira Khan will join them there. This comes in the wake of the decision taken by the CM of Maharashtra, MNS, and the Producers Guild together that no films will Pakistani actors will be shot from the time the ban was given.

A source reveals, “The producers of Raees have always maintained that the film was shot before the (Uri) attack happened. The ban against three complete films (Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Raees and Dear Zindagi) which starred Pakistani actors was lifted but a decision was taken by the CM of Maharashtra, MNS, and the Producers Guild together that no other films with Pakistani artistes will be released and no films with Pakistani actors will be shot. But fact is, that two romantic tracks were left to be shot between Shah Rukh and Mahira. The diktat left the director Rahul Dholakia and producers Red Chillies Entertainment and Excel Entertainment in a dilemma as to where to film the two songs with Mahira and Shah Rukh.”

But, post the release of Raees trailer things changed. The source adds further, “Now, that the dust has settled down and the Raees trailer has got a great response the makers of the film decided to shoot the remaining songs with Mahira Khan who plays SRK’s love interest – but outside India and a country where nobody could object. Mahira has received a good response too in the trailer and the makers are more confident. They decided to fly to Dubai first and shoot one song in Abu Dhabi or Bahrain and then fly to Morocco for the second. It is all being done under the utmost secrecy and is very hush-hush till the songs are shot and the team flies back, so that nobody finds out. Whatever patchwork remained was complete a few days back with SRK in Mumbai. After the two songs are shot abroad, Raees is complete.”

Set in Gujarat during the 1980s, Raees is the tale of bootlegger Raees Alam (Shah Rukh Khan) whose business is challenged by police officer, ACP Majmudar (Nawazuddin Siddiqui).

No replacement of Mahira Khan in Raees due to ban as per Ritesh Sidhwani!

Due to the ban of Pakistani artists in India, there were numerous rumors of the movie having the actors like Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan getting replaced in their replaced. Mahira is ready to make her Bollywood debut with Shah Rukh Khan starrer Raees.

Now, at a fashion event held in New Delhi, one of the producers of Raees, Ritesh Sidhwani was questioned about the same and he disproved the rumors by telling, "I do not understand where all this is coming from. I would only say one thing - I have shot with the girl for 45 days and finished the film, I hope that clarifies things."

He further included, "I was not reacting to such reports or commenting because I feel that when someone speculates something and you go and respond to it, you are providing a platform to such speculations and rumours. I feel it is better to ignore such things. I don't want to talk about 'Raees', I am here to cheer for my wife."

Shahrukh celebrates his B’day with Raees trailer launch at Mannat!

Stories were widespread that Shah Rukh Khan's forthcoming movie Raees' trailer would be attached to Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Hrithik Roshan's Kaabil would be attached to Ajay Devgn's Shivaay.

But now it looks like SRK has a different strategy in mind. The actor will present the trailer on his birthday (November 2) at the event he hosts every year at his house in Bandra.

Henceforward, Kaabil will be attached to both Shivaay and ADHM.

“SRK and co-producer Ritesh Sidhwani do not want any comparisons made with any other film. So, they will release their trailer a few days after Kaabil. But the bigger worry for SRK isn’t Kaabil as much as it is the trailer of Aamir Khan’s Dangal,” a source informed a famous daily.

As Aamir has excellent marketing strategy and the news around Dangal is huge, the source added, “Not just that, Aamir will also release the trailer a few days before Diwali, so there is double the buzz. Shah Rukh wants the hype around those two trailers to end before he releases his film’s trailer the week after. He will screen the trailer for the media in the day, release it on social media after that and at night, his close friends will get to watch it at his birthday bash at his residence, Mannat.”

Mahira Khan will not be present for the event due to the latest ban on Pakistani actors. The ban, but, will not affect the film as films that are completed will escape the restriction. The source told, “While the producers of Raees are worried about their release on January 26, their publicity and promotions are on track.”

Pakistani actors Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan, who romanced each other in popular Pakistani serial Humsafar, have set the temperature soaring with their sizzling chemistry in a recent ad film.

The actors have come together for a new Pakistani commercial for a toiletry brand and they have already broken the internet with the sensuous advertisement. The ad shows Mahira trying to grab Fawad’s attention, who gets pulled towards her because of her powerful scent.

While Fawad has already carved a niche for himself in the Indian film industry, Mahira is all set to mark her Bollywood debut with Shah Rukh Khan starrer Raees.

Shahrukh wants the t-shirt just like Raees co-actor Mahira Khan is wearing!

Pakistani actress Mahira Khan will mark her Bollywood debut with Raees opposite Shah Rukh Khan and while the Bollywood Baadshah has been ruling the industry since decades there's still something which Mahira has and he doesn't.

Mahira was lately spotted wearing a t-shirt which had Raees' dialogue 'Baniye ka dimag aur miyan bhai ki daring' written on it and when Khan saw Mahira's picture wearing that t-shirt, he lamented the fact that he doesn't own one.

Taking to Twitter Khan wrote, “Am I the only one who doesn’t have this t shirt?! Or is there a rule u can either mouth the lines or wear them?”

Directed by Rahul Dholakia, Raees is slated to release this Eid.
