Diana Penty to share BTS glimpses from Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer Adbhut’s set!

Well-known star Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer Adbhut was pronounced last year. The film also stars Diana Penty, Shreya Dhanwanthary, and Rohan Mehra in the lead role. The film is helmed by Sabbir Khan. He had revealed the first look of the thriller movie and called it the 'most shocking film of the year'. The teaser gave a glimpse of all four actors. While sharing the teaser, Nawazuddin had posted, "The #ADBHUT journey begins! It will be a thrilling process of exploring such a character with Director @sabbir24x7 Looking forward to this @DianaPenty @shreya_dhan13 & @rohanvmehra #FilmingBegins #AdbhutTheFilm."

Recently, Diana Penty posted a few glimpses from the set as she shot for the movie Adbhut. Taking to the stories section of Instagram, she posted a few behind-the-scenes (BTS) glimpses. A short video showed the crew on the set. Another Instagram story featured the lights from the set. Even one of her pics featured director Sabbir Khan.

Song Shehar Ki Ladki’s new version for Diana Penty and Badshah in Khandaani Shafakhana!

After Karan Johar's Kalank, Sonakshi Sinha is all set to star in her second movie of the year, Khandaani Shafakhana. The forthcoming comedy drama dropped its trailer recently and the movie will also see rapper Badshah making his acting debut. The movie is scheduled to hit the theatres next month and the movie's trailer has received an encouraging reaction.

Now, the makers are now planning to recreate the song “Shehar Ki Ladki” from 1996 film Rakshak which starred Raveena Tandon, reported a daily. Suniel Shetty starred in the original song along with Raveena, but the remake will feature Badshah and Diana Penty who has been roped in especially for the song.

As per the report, the song will be shot soon at a studio in Mumbai. A source revealed to a daily, “Unlike the original track, which was filmed outdoors—from a railway station to a bridge the modern-day rendition is a conventional party number in a pub."

The song will also include a rap portion which will be sung by Badshah.

Dinesh Vijan has announced a new project titled Shiddat starring Diana Penty, Sunny Kaushal, Radhika Madan and Mohit Raina.

The romantic drama that’ll be directed by Kunal Deshmukh of the Jannat films fame will follow the parallel journeys of two couples. Shiddat will be filmed in London, Paris and Punjab, and I’ve heard its plot will have long distance relationships at the heart of it all. Dinu has been on a winning run at the BO with hits like Stree and Luka Chuppi, so I expect big things from Shiddat too!

Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi’s new snooping poster with most wanted Diana Penty!

The film Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi is a sequel to Happy Bhag Jayegi which starred Diana Penty in the lead role. In the second instalment of the sleeper hit franchise, Sonakshi is an additional cast along with Diana.

Recently, we received the poster of Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi. In the photograph, Sonakshi is seen holding a pair of chopsticks and Piyush Mishra, Jimmy Sheirgill and Jassie Gill are seen inside a cane box. We can also see Diana's photograph behind Sonakshi and she is on the Wanted list.

Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi is directed by Mudassar Aziz. It is scheduled to release on August 24, 2018.

Diana Penty feels Happy Phir Bhag Jayegi is funnier than the first one!

Bollywood actress Diana Penty is one of the cutest actresses in Bollywood. In a latest media chat, she revealed that her priority is to keep experimenting and avoid sticking to "formula films".

Diana is presently gearing up for her forthcoming movie Happy Phir Bhag Jayegi, which is a sequel to her 2016 hit movie Happy Bhag Jayegi. The movie will feature Abhay Deol, Jimmy Sheirgill, Ali Fazal and Sonakshi Sinha.

Speaking about the movie, Diana revealed, "If you like the first one, you will also like the second one. It’s the same space. It is funny, crazy and sweet. It’s a joyride. It is funnier than the first one. It feels good that a film is good enough for the makers to consider a part two. I feel proud when I think of that."

About the story of the second film’s uniqueness. She revealed, "I don’t think it is that much pressure or anything. It’s a unique story and director Mudassar Aziz really aced it. I feel it is even funnier than the first one."

If the role is powerful, screen time doesn't bother me, reveals Diana Penty!

Cocktail’s actress Diana Penty, who is essaying a strong character in the forthcoming movie "Lucknow Central", tells when it comes to choosing a movie, she is least worried about the screen time or the length of the character but the impact of it.

Diana, who started her career with a multi-starrer "Cocktail" where she shared screen space with Deepak Padukone and Saif Ali Khan, also holds that the belief that 'models can't be a good actress' is a cliché.

Questioned about if she gets bothered about the length of character she essays in the movie, Diana said, “No, if the role is powerful, screen timing doesn't bother me... that becomes secondary then. I always think about the impact of the character in the film, after liking the story. For instance, in 'Lucknow Central', I am playing a strong headed woman in the men's world."

Giving little more insight into her character, she told, "My character Gayatri Kashyap works for an NGO who helps prisoners to reintegrate into society and coming back to normal life once they come out of jail. The character is interesting because she is the woman working inside the prison; which is a male dominated work space. So she is confident, strong headed and stubborn at times."

After having a successful modeling career and debuting in Bollywood in 2012, the actress appeared on her second film in 2016 after four years. 

While she only believes in be a part of movies that have good stories, questioned about what made her so secure that she would live on in public memory and did not fear losing visibility, Diana revealed, "Whether a 'Cocktail', 'Happy Bhaag Jayegi', 'Lucknow Central' or 'Parmanu: The Story Of Pokhran', these are the stories come once in a lifetime. Why should I miss out on them? I can wait because I believe in quality work."

Born and brought up in Mumbai, Diana was a 'shy child' and though she had no plan to become an actress, she is quite enjoying the world of cinema and the parks coming with it.

But, does she continuously struggle with the validation of an actress, being a model?

"I think this thought of models can't act is such a cliche! Many of our top heroines like Priyanka Chopra, Anushka Sharma were models before entering Bollywood. And they are wonderful actresses. I really failed to understand why people living with the misconception of we cannot act," Diana responded. 

John Abraham and Diana Penty starrer Parmanu - The Story Of Pokhran’s first look!

Bollywood actor John Abraham is known to produce upbeat and eccentric movies. His movies like Vicky Donor, Madras Cafe have been liked by numerous. Now, he is back as not only the producer but also as the lead in a forthcoming movie titled Parmanu - The Story Of Pokhran.

The film will be based on the nuclear test conducted at Pokhran in 1998 and is being helmed by Abhishek Sharma. Parmanu is scheduled to release on December 8, 2017.

Recently, the makers revealed the first look of the movie and it definitely looks interesting! In the poster, the map of the Pokhran test area is shown with John's face hiding as a camouflage.

John shared the poster of Twitter telling, "So happy to bring you the first look of my biggest test ever. #ParmanuFirstLook @johnabrahament @kriarj @ParmanuTheMovie"

John will be paired opposite Diana Penty in the movie. Speaking about the movie, John had previously specified to a famous daily, "I have never been in a hurry to produce films and have been searching for subjects that are engaging... stories that resonate with the current socio-political and economic mood of the country. This film fits in perfectly with my pursuit, and I am also happy to start my association with Prernaa and Arjun."

Whereas the director of the film, Abhishek told, "I'm glad to collaborate with John. His involvement as an actor and producer adds great value and credibility to my vision."

Sitting beautiful, Diana Penty struck a pose on the cover of Femina Wedding Times. Clad in a floral saree, she channeled some key vintage vibes on the cover shot.

She was seen wearing a dark hue Shivan and Narresh floral print saree. The saree had a 3/4th sleeve blouse. The neckline, as well as the border of the saree, had a 3D, bronze-gold embellishments on it. What added an even more old-school vibe to the look was Diana's hair and makeup. She wore her hair in milkmaid braids updo. Coral lips and smokey eyes finished the look. For accessories, she added a pair of big pearl earrings along with some traditional gold bangles and ring.

Farhan Akhtar starrer Lucknow Central’s mahurat shot!

There have been a lot of conjectures about the casting of Lucknow Central. The male lead of the movie is finalised and it is none other than Farhan Akhtar.

But for the female lead, first, it was stated that Kriti Sanon will be paired opposite him and then she opted out and Saiyami Kher was roped in for the main role. Now, rumour has it, Diana Penty has been finalised for the role.

The movie has finally gone on floors today. The official Twitter page of Nikkhil Advani's Emmay Entertainment shared a picture from the mahurat shot. They captioned the picture saying, "Big day for us..Shooting for our next production @LucknowCentral directed by our very own @ranjit_tiwari commences! Cheers! #MahuratShot"

Lucknow Central also stars Gippy Grewal, Ronit Roy and Rajesh Sharma in key roles.

Diana Penty to star in Farhan starrer Lucknow Central instead of Kriti and Saiyami?

Seems like the casting problem for the famous lady of Nikkhil Advani's Lucknow Central continues. Directed by debutant Ranjit Tiwari, the film stars Farhan Akhtar.

Firstly, Kriti Sanon was considered for the role but she mentioned date issues. Then Saiyami Kher was to take up the role of an NGO worker.

At present, Diana Penty is the hottest choice for the role, according to a famous tabloid.

 "After the makers roped in Saiyami, they felt that she isn’t best suited for the role either. Hence, they replaced her with Diana Penty," a source disclosed to the tabloid. 

This will be the first time Farhan and Diana will be seen in a film together.
