As per latest media reports, Deepika and Ranveer might not be seen together anytime soon in a movie as Deepika might not be wanting to overexpose the couple’s mass appeal. Recently, the Deepika seemingly rejected 3 back to back movies with husband Ranveer Singh for the very same reason.

Recently, Katrina Kaif attended a marriage in Jaipur last night. Unnecessary to say Katrina was all decked up and looked really spectacular.

As per media sources, the 36-year-old Katrina opted for a salmon pink Anita Dongre number. Her outfit included a deep U neck sleeveless blouse with floral embroidery on it in off-white and gold. She teamed her blouse with a high waisted flared lehenga in the same pink colour. Her lehenga too included elaborate work on it in golden and off white.

After Housefull 4’s success, Akshay Kumar is now gearing up for his fourth movie Good Newwz releasing on December 27. Amongst the news around all forthcoming Akshay movies, netizens spotted the actor repeating a dress in Housefull 4 and Good Newwz. A fan page dedicated to Akshay lately shared a collage that shows Akshay sporting the same sweatshirt in Good Newwz that the actor wore in Housefull 4. While some fans called it hard work and chose to believe that the actor has been keeping so busy that he ended up repeating the dress, others trolled him asking was he shooting for both the movies on the same day?

Salman Khan’s 'Shuddhi' with Sohail Khan?

As we all know, Shuddhi has been in the making and in talks since many years but looks like it has now hit a roadblock of sorts. Shuddhi was reported to be Karan Johar's dream project with Salman Khan in the lead role. But, as per media sources, Salman Khan's brother now seems to have registered the title.

When casting for Shuddhi initially kicked off, Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor Khan were slated to star in the movie. But, Hrithik soon opted out and the search ended with Salman Khan giving a nod to the movie which will be directed by director Karan Malhotra. But, Salman, who was supposed to co-produce Kesari with Karan Johar, opted out of the project later. 

Among reports of movie being cancelled, producer Karan Johar had clarified that Shuddhi will unquestionably happen and he may get his students Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan to star in the same. 

Now, as per media sources, that there is a high possibility of Sohail Khan making Shuddhi. If there is any truth to the matter, he may just cast brother Salman in the lead role. This means that despite opting out of Karan Johar's Shuddhi, Salman may still end up doing a movie titled by the same name but with his brother Sohail Khan instead.

While Sasha was keen on the script, he had to let it go to do the Jersey remake. Now Ranjit is in talks with Akshay Kumar to headline the suave spy thriller that’s set in the 70s. My khabru also tells me the movie’s makers have named it Bell Bottoms, which is fitting considering the fashion of the era it’ll be set in. I’m sure Akki will rock the look if he signs on the dotted line!

Arjun Kapoor’s new reel love as Rakul Preet Singh?

John Abraham has cast Arjun Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh in a family dramedy that he’s coproducing with Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and Nikkhil Advani’s Emmay Entertainment.

The untitled film will mark the directorial debut of Nikkhil’s long-time assistant director Kaashvie Nair, and I hear it’ll be a coming-of-age, cross-border love story that will mainly be shot in Los Angeles and Punjab. John, Nikkhil and Bhushan already have a lot of faith in the project that rolls later this month. Let’s hope it proves to be justified!

Bad behaviour's everywhere, says Nithya Menen!

Presently, the International Film Festival of India is underway in Goa and numerous actors and filmmakers from across the world have been attending the same. One of the speakers at the event was Nithya Menen. On the panel, she was along with Rashmika Mandanna and movie critic Baradwaj Rangan and they spoke about their journey.

Nithya disclosed that she got into movies by chance. "I wanted to be in the forest, around animals, make films on them. My personality was so not suited for the film industry, no diplomacy, no fondness for attention. But very recently I started to develop an incredible love for cinema. What a beautiful medium this is. I can make something that can change the emotional state of people."

She compared her newfound love for cinema with arrange marriage. She specified, "Maybe this is what arrange marriage feels like. After some time there is deep love."

When questioned if the film industry is safe for women, to which Nithya revealed, "You are safe as you allow yourself to be. No one will force you. Bad behaviour is everywhere not only in the film industry. You need to decide what you want to do how much you want or don’t want to compromise."
