Shahid Kapoor has opted out of Ranjit Tiwari’s upcoming action spectacular that is being produced by Nikkhil Advani and Vashu Bhagnani.

While Sasha was keen on the script, he had to let it go to do the Jersey remake. Now Ranjit is in talks with Akshay Kumar to headline the suave spy thriller that’s set in the 70s. My khabru also tells me the movie’s makers have named it Bell Bottoms, which is fitting considering the fashion of the era it’ll be set in. I’m sure Akki will rock the look if he signs on the dotted line!

For years Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi’s fans have been waiting for the third Munna Bhai film to be officially announced.

Well, I’m not here to tell you that Munna and Circuit are returning. But I can reveal that Baba and Arshad have boarded a brand-new comedy that’s being helmed by Sajid and Farhad Samji. The laugh riot will star Sanju as a blind don while Arshad is his eyes, and here’s the funniest bit – no one else knows that Sanju can’t see! The movie will begin filming in Budapest in April and I’m already getting a good vibe from it!

Arjun Kapoor’s new reel love as Rakul Preet Singh?

John Abraham has cast Arjun Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh in a family dramedy that he’s coproducing with Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and Nikkhil Advani’s Emmay Entertainment.

The untitled film will mark the directorial debut of Nikkhil’s long-time assistant director Kaashvie Nair, and I hear it’ll be a coming-of-age, cross-border love story that will mainly be shot in Los Angeles and Punjab. John, Nikkhil and Bhushan already have a lot of faith in the project that rolls later this month. Let’s hope it proves to be justified!

A Release date for Big B’s starrer Sarkar 3!

Admirers of Ram Gopal Varma, who are waiting for news on his forthcoming movie Sarkar 3 are sure to shout in enjoyment at reading this piece of news.

RGV, who will team up with Amitabh Bachchan for the third movie in the Sarkar franchise, is planning to have the movie released in April 2017. The movie is presently being shot in Mumbai and this time, the Big B will be joined by actors such as Jackie Shroff, Manoj Bajpayee, Yami Gautam, Amit Sadh, Rohini Hattangadi and others.

As per information, Sarkar 3 is a fresh story and not connected to the previous two movies.

No idea why I am labelled as a serious actor, says Manoj Bajpayee!

Actor Manoj Bajpayee, who shot to recognition sudden with his role as the gritty gangster Bhiku Mhatre in Ram Gopal Varma's cult movie Satya, is known for his edgy and intense acts, but the actor lately astonished us with his comic side in Saat Uchakkey.

When asked as to the shift to comedy, Bajpayee told that he has no idea why he is labelled as a serious or intense actor, but accepts that it is a part and parcel of an actor's life. Bajpayee also disclosed that different to what people consider, he is relatively a funny guy in real life and that he loves doing sensible comedy.

Manoj will be next seen essaying a negative character in RGV's Sarkar 3.

Now Vidya's Begum Jaan’s will release on 17th March instead of 6th January!

Earlier, it was informed that Vidya Balan's next Begum Jaan would be the first release of 2017. The date was set as 6th January and many trade experts called it as a brave move, considering the fact that conventionally, the track record of first release of the year is pretty poor. In fact Vidya's own No One Killed Jessica was an uncommon exception when it was the first release of 2011.

Well, as things stand today, there is a rearrange in order. The movie will now release on 17th March next year.

"That's correct," ratifies our source, "There is no rush here. It is going to be 17th March instead."

This date is special as well for the Vidya Balan starrer since the movie would now coincide with the five year anniversary of Kahaani, which is Vidya's second major hit (after The Dirty Picture).

"Yeah, Kahaani released in March 2012 and now Begum Jaan would arrive in March 2017," our source further adds, "Kahaani was the film that proved to be a major milestone in Vidya's career and also brought sure turnaround for her. In fact after its release, it had turned out to be the highest grossing female centric film till date. The record was only equaled by Queen (2014) two years later by Kangana Ranaut."

There is a Bengal linking too between both the movies. While Sujoy Ghosh's Kahaani was based in Kolkata, Begum Jaan is an official adaptation of Srijit Mukherji's Bengali movie Rajkahini. Rituparna Sengupta was the central hero in the Bengali version and now Vidya Balan is essaying the same part of a brothel madam.

John Abraham’s voice for 'Force 2' song named 'Rang Laal'!

Actor-producer John Abraham, who will be next seen essaying a tough cop in Abhinay Deo's Force 2, has also given his voice to a song titled Rang Laal in the movie.

Confirming the same, producer Vipul Shah told, ''The song reflects the general state of mind in the country -when we're attacked, we will strike back. It has been sung by a young singer named Dev Negi and features dialogues by John. After we finished shooting the film, we wanted to do something more to convey its spirit but in a unique way. We shot the song on a set in Mumbai.''

Force 2, which also stars Sonakshi Sinha and Tahir Raj Bhasin, is scheduled to release on November 18.

Farhan-Shraddha's Rock On 2 will be re-shoot?

It’s not good news for Farhan Akhtar and Shraddha Kapoor's Rock On 2. After their US tour got cancelled, there are news that some sequences of the film are being reworked on.

Not only that, Shraddha Kapoor, who has sung songs in the film, isn't too content with the way her voice sounds and has been cribbing about it to a director pal. 

While the movie is the work of debutant director Shujaat Saudagar, the report reveals that Farhan has ghost-directed the film.

Ranveer Singh has no problem with nudity if need to convince audience!

Ranveer Singh shocked the viewers in the lately released trailer of Befikre. The bold trailer displays Ranveer kissing his costar Vaani Kapoor to walking in a red speedo, exhibiting his body.

In an interview with a famous daily, when Ranveer was asked if he was awkward while shooting in the briefs, the dashing actor confessed, "I have no problem with nudity. I am not an exhibitionist, I am extremely comfortable in my skin. People say actors nange hote hai that doesn't mean they are literally naked. It means when an actor is performing it is completely convincing, but they are acting, they don't really feel it."

He further said, "Actors have their bag of tricks and tools that they employ. They are so effective that the audience are convinced that the actor is feeling the emotions. I am not from that school."

"My wearing the speedo is just the physical aspect of it and it means very little as opposed to what I am actually putting out there. I am naked to another level and it has more to do with my soul. If you wear your soul, you can't be more naked than that," signed off Singh.

Gorgeous lady of tinsel town disclosed in a latest heart-to-heart session with admirers that the Shahid Kapoor - Kareena Kapoor - Alia Bhat starrer Udta Punjab made her cry. 

She told, "It made me cry for two reasons. One would be the performances. However, the second reason was for me not featuring in the movie."

During an interview with Anupama Chopra, conversation about her peers going ahead with Hollywood projects Priyanka told, “I want to see what happens, first of all. I hope all the actors, whoever come see the notoriety and the popularity that I have achieved or reached. I hope that happens to them because it’s unbelievable when it happens in another country.”

“When you walk out and you have like people who don’t look anything like you, coming up and knowing you. And I hope that happens to Deepika and Sonam. Because they’ve signed up. Today is not about domestic, it’s all about entertainment. It’s global. So now everybody wants that,” Priyanka added.

Sushant Singh Rajput reveals some interesting qualities of next film costar Parineeti Chopra!

After getting successes in M.S Dhoni: The Untold Story, Sushant Singh Rajput is all geared up to romance his Shuddh Desi Romance co-star: Parineeti, once more with Homi Adajania's Takadum. 

Earlier, Sushant even took to Twitter to share the news and disclosed a little plot of the film. He posted, “About a girl who has the sky in her eyes & a guy whose only dream is to touch that goddamn sky #TAKADUM”.

In Delhi, Sushant was all praises when asked about his bubbly co-star. Sushant further said, "Parineeti is a fabulous actress. She's so spontaneous and she keeps us all alive with her infectious energy and you really are able to enhance your character. There's a lot of action-reaction."

Directed by Homi Adajania, Takadum will start rolling by mid-October.
