By this point it is common knowledge that Sanjay Leela
Bhansali has cast Alia Bhatt as Gangubai Kathiawadi in a period biopic about
the madam.
Now a little birdie tells me he also plans to give his niece
Sharmin Segal a plum role in the movie. The star kid’s acting career didn’t get
off to the greatest start despite her debut film Malaal generating positive
reviews from both critics and audiences, so now mamaji is trying a different
track by casting her alongside a certified A-lister. I’m sure Sharmin
appreciates all his help!
