Deepika Padukone reveals Draupadi's point of view in her next!

Deepika Padukone is bringing the Mahabharata’s most important female character to life on the big screen.

DP has signed an adaptation of Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni’s book Palace of Illusions, which tells the epic from Draupadi's point of view. The actress is even co-producing the film with Madhu Mantena after buying the rights to the book. Deepika says she’s thrilled to have the opportunity to play what she calls is the role of a lifetime. I’m already looking forward to watching the movie drop over Diwali 2021.
