Yash Raj Films is planning to continue the tale of Bunty Aur
Bubli 13 years after Shaad Ali’s funny take on two thieves and a cop on their
tail.
An YRF rep even confirmed that the studio has wanted to make
a sequel to the film for years, and Aditya Chopra now has an active team of
writer’s working on a script for it. Apparently Abhishek Bachchan and Rani
Mukherji won’t reprise their roles since Shaad has asked to cast Ranveer Singh
opposite an A-list actress instead. Watch this space to see if he gets his
wish.
