Filmmaker Karan Johar is bringing together the hit jodi of
Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor Khan for his next project which will be directed
by debutant director Raj Mehta. Raj has been the assistant director for movies
like Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania.
Akshay and Kareena have acted in numerous flicks together
including Ajnabee (2001), Aitraaz (2004), Kambakkht Ishq (2009) and Gabbar is
Back (2015) etc. Joining Akshay and Kareena in the movie will be Diljit Dosanjh
and Kiara Advani while the film will be based on the topic of surrogacy.
The film's title is yet to be known but Akshay may have disclosed
the name of the forthcoming film in his interview during film Gold’s promotion.
During the chat, when Akshay was questioned if he was
enjoying the part where he plays a lot of real people in his movies, the actor
shared, "I've balanced myself. I play different kinds of people. In
Housefull 4, it's going to be different," and further speaking about Good
News, Akshay further added, "I'm doing a film called Good News that's
completely different. It's a real incident by the way, what happened in Good
News. But, it's very funny what happened."
