Recently, Priyanka Chopra walked out of Ali Abbas Zafar's
directorial Bharat which would have seen the reunion of Salman and her after
many years. It was Ali who disclosed via Twitter that Priyanka had a special
reason for backing out of the project, which hinted at her engagement with
Nick. A few days later, news broke out that Priyanka would be starring opposite
Chris Pratt in Cowboy Ninja Viking as the female lead.
As per reports, now Priyanka has opted out of one more Bollywood
project. As per a daily, a year ago, rumours suggested that Priyanka was going
to collaborate with her Bajirao Mastani director Sanjay Leela Bhansali for a
film based on female gangster Gangubai Kothewali. But, Bhansali's plans were
left awry after Priyanka decided to leave this project at the last minute like
she did with Bharat. A source revealed that Bhansali was very well going to
make the project with Priyanka as the female lead.
The source continued that Priyanka's Hollywood project
Cowboy Ninja Viking dampened the prospect of the gangster movie and now the
filmmaker has put off the plans of making it in the near future.
In the meantime, Priyanka and Nick's PDA was in full mode in
Singapore, as Nick performed at a music festival.
