International diva Priyanka Chopra is too much hectic due to
her work commitments. She has been flying to and fro America for her next
projects. Priyanka returned to India to start shooting for her next project,
The Sky is Pink. She stars opposite Farhan Akhtar in the film that is based on
Ayesha Chaudhary’s life. Priyanka attended an event in Delhi recently and
discussed ‘Challenging the Status Quo & Forging New Paths'. She talked
about her journey, films and personal life at the event.
Speaking about her character, Alex Parrish from Quantico,
Priyanka revealed, “Alex to me is an unapologetic modern female who lives life
on her terms. She is extremely flawed, she’s not perfect, she’s a loner, she
doesn’t like people, she only uses people… So, she’s basically playing a man,
which is awesome, because girls don’t get to play that… And I was like ‘Yes, we
get to turn the tables. It’s my dream to be able to play a man… That’s the next
thing I want to do.”
She told that her character in Quantico broke many barriers
and opened doors for many South Asian women in the field of entertainment.
