Previously when Saif Ali Khan and
Kareena Kapoor Khan had just gotten wedded, the two had seemingly
agreed to not kiss any of their co-stars on screen. The two had even discussed
the same on Koffee With Karan when they had appeared together on the
show.
But the couple broke the rule as we saw
Kareena locking lips with Arjun Kapoor in Ki & Ka while
Saif was seen kissing Kangana Ranaut in Rangoon.
So what exactly made them break the promise!? As
to Kareena, it was Saif's and his ex-wife Amrita Singh daughter Sara Ali
Khan.
In an interview on a talk show, Kareena disclosed that it
was Sara who suggested to the couple that their no-kissing anyone else deal,
should be kept off screen and with the kind of movies and characters Bollywood
is venturing into, kissing is just like any other scene.
In the meantime, in the same
interview with Koffee With Karan which took place in 2010, Karan had
posed Kareena with a complicated question; how tough it
is to date a man who has been married before with 2 children!? And Bebo, known
for her frankness, answered, "We had many
conversations about this. I don't look at it as responsibility (the kids)
because they have a wonderful mother. you see, they have a mother, they don't
need a mother! But the kids definitely need a friend. And when Sara and I are
sitting together, Saifu says we are his two kids!"
