Salman Khan's forthcoming
movie Tubelight has been in the newsflash for months now. The posters
and the first teaser of the film has created quite a stir among the movie goers
and Salman fans, leaving all of them eager for the trailer of the film.
Now, the first trailer of the movie is all set to release
this Thursday. Tubelight's director Kabir Khan pronounced the trailer
release date on Twitter today. He tweeted, "#TubelightTrailer out on the
25th of May - can't wait to show you guys! @BeingSalmanKhan @amarbutala
@tubelightkieid @skfilmsofficial."
The trailer of the film will be two minutes and seventeen
seconds long and has been passed with a U certificate.
Tubelight is an official remake of Little
Boy and stars Salman Khan, Sohail Khan and Chinese actress Zhuzhu in the
lead role. The film hits the screens on June 23, 2017 on the festive occasion
of Eid. Tubelight would be clashing with Sunny Deol
starrer Bhaiyyaji Superhitt.
When Kabir Khan was questioned about the movie's
similarities with Little Boy he said, "Tubelight is an official
adaptation of Little Boy. We liked the concept and hence we met the writer and
bought the story rights to the movie."
Kabir also spoke about his experience of working with Salman
Khan for the third time, after Ek Tha Tiger and Bajrangi
Bhaijaan. He told, "I have done three films with him (Salman) and this
time he has pushed the boundaries in terms of craft and acting."
