Veteran late actress Reema Lagoo left an ineradicable mark
in our hearts and today, we have lost her. The actress passed away at the age
of 59 after suffering from a cardiac arrest. Reema spelt her magic through her act
in movies like Maine Pyar Kiya, Hum Aapke Hain Koun, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Hum
Saath-Saath Hain. Many Bollywood celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Priyanka
Chopra, Alia Bhatt, Parineeti Chopra and Anushka Sharmatook to Twitter to mourn
over the huge loss.
But, we have been waiting for Salman Khan to tweet or say
something as he has worked with Reema ji in a quite a few movies. He has played
the role of her son in movies like Maine Pyar Kiya and Hum Saath Saath Hain.
She was understanding and supportive in the case his onscreen son and their
'maa-beta' jodi has been much-loved by all the fans and viewers.
There's an old video which is going viral wherein Salman is
seen hugging Reema. The sweetest section comes when he plants a kiss on her
cheeks. As per reports, it was at the trailer launch event of the Marathi film
Sanngto Aika where Salman was called as the guest in chief and Reema too was
among the other guests. The video will leave you teary eyed.
Lagoo’s son-in-law, Vinay Waikul, told, "She was
complaining of chest pain so we took her to the hospital around 1 AM. She
passed away due to a heart attack around 3.15 AM. She was perfectly fine and
had no health issues...so it is really shocking for all of us that she is no
more with us."
We also got in touch with Govinda who has worked with Reema
in Jis Desh Mein Ganga Rehta Hain. The actress essayed the role of his mother
and the love she had for her son was one of the high points of the movie. When
we contacted, Govinda, he told, "I got to know from you. I didn't know
about it. It's shocking and sad at the same time. I just have reached on the
sets and I might have to cancel the shoot for today."
Reema Lagoo is a huge loss for the industry and will always
be remembered.
