New powerful couple Sagarika Ghatge and Zaheer Khan pronounced
their engagement in style, on social media, some weeks back. And when they did,
cricketers, film stars and the many fans took to social media to shower their
blessings on the lovely couple.
Sagarika had also opened up about the proposal and the
wedding date. She had told, “It was a surprise for me too as it came right in
the middle of the IPL season. We wanted to get away from the city as we had two
days off in between matches. So he flew me to Goa for a day and that’s how the
engagement happened."
When questioned about the D Day, Sagarika told, "Let
the Indian Premier League get over first, then, we will decide on a date. Right
now we don’t want to get stressed because Zaheer is focussed on the matches.”
Now, the Chak De actress took to her Instagram
handle to share a clean shaven look of Zaheer. She posted, "Came back home
to this stranger @zakkhan34 doing #breakthebeard rather well."
Zaheer pronounced his retirement from international and
first-class cricket two years back as the country's fourth-highest wicket-taker
across formats.
