Bubbly actress Kangana Ranaut has been thrilled about
her movie Simran, which is all set to release in September. We lately
saw a preview of the teaser and it did look pretty exciting! The much anticipated
film is directed by Hansal Mehta.
Well, amongst all the excitement, a certain incident has
dampened the spirit of our power house actress, Kangana. We know that there has
been an ongoing spat between the writer Apurva Asrani and the Simran team
regarding the writing credits of the movie. While Hansal and producer Shailesh
Singh wish to credit their actress with writing credits as she has apparently
contributed to the script in numerous ways, writer Apurva is adamant and
distraught at this very idea.
Apurva had told, "Today not only do I see her credit
before mine on the poster (which I had decided not to fight), but I also saw
Kangana on her 'Facebook Live' event yesterday claiming that she had written
the film (with Hansal) from a one-line he gave her."
But, when a close source communicated Kangana to know her
thoughts on this one, the actress answered that she was heartbroken with the
entire incident unfolding in such an ugly manner.
In the meantime, Hansal took to his social media handle to
share a touching post about his movie and the controversy.
He posted, "Yes I am guilty. Guilty of crediting
individuals who contribute to making my films very special to many of us.
And..."
