After triumph over Indian box office, Aamir Khan starrer
Dangal has gone on to create a history in China as it becomes the first Indian film
to cross INR 100 crore in only five days.
The film which released on May 5 in China across 7000
screens and has been well received by the people in China despite the fact that
China's top cinema operator, Wanda (who enjoy a monopoly) decided to screen it
in only 37 screens.
The film has garnered INR 123.67 crore in total as of now in
China and is expected to earn more in the coming weeks.
This is indeed a great news for Indian cinema. Aamir Khan
debuted with PK in Chinese theaters last year which earned over INR 100 crores.
The credit for such a successful run goes to Aamir who
enjoys a great fan following in China, results of which can be seen. Aamir had
also visited China to promote the movie wherein he travelled to Beijing,
Shanghai and Chengdu last month.
Dangal's previously lifetime collection stood at over
INR 730 crore.
