Filmmaker Karan Johar is overjoyed with the response he has
been getting for his film. But, the controversies surrounding Ae Dil Hai
Mushkil refuse to die down. The latest one being the Mohammad Rafi remark
in the film, which has upset the late singer's family and fans.
Lately, when Sonu Nigam was questioned about this issue, he
had told, "I do not wish to comment on the issue but the person who made
the movie should consider if he is OK making fun of his own father in the same
way then they could go ahead and make fun of legends."
When filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra was asked about this, he told,
"I have not seen the movie and I have no plans to. I am not interested in
watching it anytime." He then went on to applause the movie Ventilator, which
he had just watched. He told, "I just watched this movie and if you watch
it, you will forget about all other movies and their controversies. This is
good cinema."
Well, it seems Karan Johar could not take any more of his
colleagues' mean remarks as he posted, "Filmmakers making irresponsible
remarks at events..singers revelling in self importance...press releases sent
to mask insecurities! Ufff...."
