Rock On 2 is unable to create any thrill among the viewers
as the movie has failed at the box-office. And the key actors Shraddha Kapoor
and Farhan Akhtar have been saddened by the film's dreary performance at the box
office.
Shraddha was questioned about Rock On 2's failure by a media
source when she was attending the Global Citizen Festival India. Not
hiding her grief, the actress stated, "It’s sad the film has not done
well. It feels bad because you spend so many days working for a film and
a Friday decides its fate. I wish people liked the film and it
did better. The film has been receiving mixed responses and I still hope people
go and watch it."
But, her co-star Farhan Akhtar chose to ignore the question.
When he was asked if he was depressed with the response to his rock
musical drama, Farhan avoided the query and responded, “We will talk about it
some other time.”
Rock On 2 also hurt due to demonetization, which played
against the film's business.
