Superstar Aamir Khan and his Dangal team on Sunday
added to the celebrations of Commonwealth Gold Medalist Geeta Phogat by being
party to her marriage. Living up to his promise Aamir flew to Balali Village
of Chakhri Dadri and blessed the bride and groom.
Aamir who had brought along numerous gifts rued over
not being able to present a particular present to Geeta. Aamir wanted to gift
her a bridal dress, which was kindly turned down by Geeta.
Talking on it Aamir told, “I wanted to gift her the joda,
but tradition doesn't allow that. Only the bride's mama (maternal
uncle) can gift the shaadi ka joda. So I got other gifts for
her."
