Megastar Rajinikanth on Sunday told he was quite curious to essay
Akshay Kumar's role in his forthcoming Tamil science-fiction actioner 2.o.
He told Akshay is the real hero of the movie.
"I am not the hero of 2.0, Akshay Kumar is. If
given a choice, I would have loved to do that role. The entire country will
applaud him when they see his work," Rajinikanth told.
Akshay Kumar essays the prime antagonist in the movie, which
will hit the screens worldwide during Diwali 2017.
Speaking at the event, Akshay told, "Director Shankar
said my role will be difficult but I enjoyed it. The subject is very unique.
I'm sure this film will reach the standards of Hollywood."
Also starring Amy Jackson, Sudhanshu Pandey and Adil
Hussain, the Rs 350 crore mega budget movie is produced by Lyca Productions. it
is being finished shot in 3D.
